Gain on top artistically born in 2008, though Electrobogo and Simofonik, the project’s founders, left behind manyyears as Djs and musicians. In just one year, Gain on top imposed themselves inside the nu-electro, movement. Thanks to an explosive dj-set that recklessy mixes electro, house, rock and hip hop, Gain on top ” gained the top ” working alongside the big names of the electro scene, opening the dj sets of djs like Cyberpunkers, Mustard Pimp,Cassius, The Bloody Beetroots,Alex Gopher, Crookers, Sebastian, BusyP, Etienne de Crecy, Guns’n’Bombs and many more, and playing at the Aftershows of bands like Klaxons, Rinocerose, Bloc Party, Soulwax and Oasis. Feeling perfectly at ease both in undergroud dancefloors and at big events, Gain on top played as guest djs in the most important house clubs placed in the north of Italy and at the innumerable one nights dedicate to the new electro wave. “ Colpo Grosso ”, their first official remix of the homonym song by hip hop band Micromala, directly entered the most important national radios playlists, suddenly becoming a big hit on the dancefloors, thanks to the web diffusion. In 2009, in collaboration with Jay Work and Saifam, Gain on top founded their discographic label, Tunz tunz records. In 2010 they publish a lot of new remix for italian and international artists such Captain Mantell, Men in Skratch, Blasteroids and Tea Time. In July 2010 they publish ” summer in hummer “, their first e.p with 4 new inedit songs. ” The bubble struggle ” enterted again on the most important national dance radio and it was played and supported by a lot of artists. In the summer of 2010 they started a new experience:
ALWAYS AMANETTA, gain on top famous megamix dowlodable on web, became a radio show on Radio Piter pan, the most important dance radio on the north of Italy. So every saturday night, from 22 to 23, you can listen ALWAYS AMANETTA GAIN ON TOP RADIO SHOW on radio Piter Pan or on www.piterpan.it
